NoBadge is time tracking software for event and catering companies. Each venue becomes a GPS site created for the event, or a tablet at the staff entrance shows a QR code that changes every few seconds. Hours and overtime are totalled per event day and exported to Excel, at €5,04 a month per person who clocks in.

A wedding on Saturday, a conference on Tuesday, a festival bar next month. The team changes with every booking and the venue is never your own building.
Hotels, marquees, halls and outdoor sites. There is no clocking machine to install, and nobody wants to carry one from job to job.
Waiting staff, bar staff and set-up crew are booked for one event or one season. They need to start clocking in on day one, without training.
Paper sheets filled in at the end of a long night carry an error rate of around 15%, worth €1,500–€2,000 a year for a 20–30 person team.
Every event starts with a site in NoBadge. Staff then clock in with GPS time tracking on their own phone, or scan a QR code time clock at the staff entrance.
Enter the address and set the area: 50–100 m suits a hotel or hall in town, a wider radius suits a showground or a field with marquees.
Core staff and extras get an invitation and open NoBadge in the browser or install it from there. No app store, Android and iPhone.
One tap with GPS: a clock-in outside the venue area is refused. Or a tablet at the staff entrance runs the QR kiosk, and a PIN kiosk covers staff without a smartphone.
Hours, overtime and rounding are calculated by your rules, per person and per venue, and exported to Excel in one click.

Modes are set per site and per person, so the kitchen, the front of house and the set-up crew can each use the one that fits the venue.
| Who | Clock-in mode | Why it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Waiting, bar and banqueting staff | QR kiosk on a tablet at the staff entrance | Everyone comes in through the same door; the code changes every few seconds, so a photo sent to a friend soon stops working |
| Set-up and clear-down crew | GPS with a wide site area | Marquees and outdoor sites have no single entrance; the clock-in is saved on the phone even without signal |
| Chefs in the central kitchen | QR kiosk at the kitchen | A permanent site with a fixed entrance, next to the venues created for each event |
| Extras without a smartphone | PIN kiosk on a shared tablet | They type a personal PIN at the start and end of the shift; no location is recorded |
| Event managers | GPS at each venue they cover | One account for every venue; a site manager can handle the hours of one venue without full admin access |
QR and PIN kiosks need a connection, so place the tablet where the venue Wi-Fi or mobile data reaches. GPS clock-ins are saved on the phone with the phone's time and sent when the signal returns.
NoBadge cuts attendance admin by around 70%, from about 10 hours a week to 2–3 hours, for a 20–30 person team.
Shift templates per department, such as kitchen, bar or floor, shifts assigned one by one or in bulk, and staff notified on their phone when you publish.
A staff member asks to change or cancel a shift in the app; the manager approves or rejects it.
Ordinary hours, overtime thresholds and rounding, for example to the quarter hour, calculated automatically by your company's rule.
After a late finish, days left open are closed automatically and admins get a notice. The admin corrects the time, with a note.
Create as many sites as you have events, at no extra cost, each with its own hours in the reports.
Hours and overtime per person and per venue in one Excel file, ready for your payroll provider or accountant.
Under the Working Time Regulations 1998, UK employers must keep records adequate to show the 48-hour average weekly limit and the night-work limits are respected, and keep them for two years. Events make the other limits easy to miss: a late finish followed by an early set-up.
A general overview, not legal advice. Read the Working Time Regulations UK guide and check specific cases with an employment adviser.

An extra who works no event this month costs nothing. Example: 15 core staff clock in, €75,60; in December 40 people work at least one event, €201,60.

Before the event you create the venue as a site, with its address and area. On the day, staff tap Clock in on their phone: inside the area the clock-in is accepted, outside it is refused. Where the venue has one staff entrance, a tablet can run the QR kiosk instead, with a code that changes every few seconds.
Yes. NoBadge is a web app: staff open the invitation link and can install it on Android or iPhone from the browser, with no app store account. Staff without a smartphone type a personal PIN on a shared tablet. Each extra counts as an active user only in months when they clock in.
A GPS clock-in made without signal is saved on the phone with the phone's time and sent automatically when the connection returns. The app must have been opened online at least once. The QR kiosk and the PIN kiosk need a connection, so place the tablet where the venue Wi-Fi or mobile data reaches.
You set your hour rules once: ordinary hours, overtime thresholds and rounding, for example to the quarter hour. NoBadge applies them to every clock-in and clock-out, per person and per venue. At the end of the month you export hours and overtime to Excel for payroll in one click.
Days left open are closed automatically and admins get a notice. The admin then corrects the time, and every correction is saved with a note. Staff can also send a missed clock-in request from the app, which the manager approves or rejects.
€5,04 per active user per month, with every feature included. You pay after the month, only for people who clocked in: 15 core staff cost €75,60; a December with 40 people working at least one event costs €201,60. See the pricing page.
